Without Seeking A Reward
Today, I affirm before God...
I shall be righteous in all my thoughts,
actions, and feelings.
In being righteous, I shall not seek any reward
on earth but shall look forward only to
receiving a reward in Heaven above.

Help us every hour to turn away
from the world.
Help us every hour to remain in you.
Help us every hour to hear your words
resounding in our heart.
Help us every hour and increase our faith so
we ask only for your will to be done on earth.
In you, precious Jesus, I have a true friend.
In you, precious Jesus, I have someone
who will be with me in victory or defeat.
In you, precious Jesus, I have someone
who will be with me in joy or in sadness.
In you, precious Jesus, I have someone
who will be with me forever.
Today is the day,
that the Lord has made,
His strength, my faith
has made me un-afraid.
In my heart I know,
where I should be,
Listening to God's word
whose son made us free.
I cherish the fellowship,
of Christians like me,
Their friendly presence
shared mutually.
Music expresses,
in singing and song,
Praising our Father
with voices so strong.
Inspiring sermon,
Pastor preaches to us,
Guiding the people
his teaching a plus.
My weekly offering,
I do gladly give,
I know it's for God's work
so His words will live.
With joy within me,
songs to sing,
I'm glad I came
where Christ is King.
For God's always there,
I know in my heart,
Church is a classroom
a miraculous start.

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Lead me to be a true disciple by
helping me love others.
Lead me to be a true disciple by
obeying all your commands.
Lead me to be a true disciple by calling
upon the Holy Spirit who is with me forever.
Lead me to be a true disciple by calling upon
the Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of truth living
and alive just as you are living and alive.
When the world rejects the Holy Spirit and
the world rejects us because we love and walk
with the Holy spirit, then place in our heart a
special eye and a special ear to see and hear
the Spirit's words to us.
With a special eye and a special ear to see and
hear the Spirit's words to us, may we also have
an open heart to receive all truth and to
remember your truth for all of our days.
In your will, may all of us bear fruit…
fruit that will last into the coming generations…
fruit that will last until you return to earth.
Inspire me every hour to follow your
command to love others.
All these things I humbly pray in the name
of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my
Mighty God, and my Ever-present
Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
