When I'm feeling sad...
I talk to Jesus
When I have a heart that's blue,
When I need a friend,
and no one's around...
I talk to Jesus,
He knows just what to do.
When I'm feeling glad...
I talk to Jesus
He's the one who makes my heart smile
Each time I am cheerful...
I thank my Lord
I talk to Jesus...
He's there all the while!
When I'm feeling Loved,
I talk to Jesus
When I'm lonely,
I do just the same
When I'm scared and can't talk,
It isn't so bad
I talk to Jesus...
I just whisper His name.
When I'm feeling hungry,
I talk to Jesus
Though He knows...
before I ask, what I need
When I need to be fed...
I just talk to Him
His name on my lips is so sweet!
When I talk to Jesus,
He answers
Although, sometimes...
it's not how I plan
But, one thing I have learned...
Is Jesus knows best
So, I'll talk to Jesus...
again and again!

The most powerful agent of growth and
transformation is something much more basic
than any technique: A change of heart.

In order for any permanent growth and
change to take place in our lives, of necessity,
we MUST have a change of heart.
Positive thinking techniques, repetitive
"mantras", or sheer will power might exact
a temporary change, but ultimately we will
always return to our former ways, unless
there is a true change of heart.
The very self-protective barriers that we
create due to fear caused by previous hurts,
failures and pain, also serve to keep us from
receiving the transformation of heart that
we desire. Open your heart, yielding to
the Spirit of grace, and allow yourself to
experience the liberation which comes
as a result.

When I was without strength, you came
and strengthened me.
When I was without faith, you came and
touched my heart so I could believe again.
When I tried to walk away from you, you
came and walked beside me trying to get
me to turn back to you.
When the darkness came and attacked me
without my knowledge until it was too late,
you came to sit with me and give me
encouragement to hold on a little longer.
When I had decisions to make and I had
no wisdom about what to decide, you assured
me you would be with me no matter what
the outcome might be.
When my life seemed to be without purpose,
you came and stood next to me and gave
me a reason for living and pushing ahead.
